Closure of BUPA Medical Centres in Victoria
We have just been advised of the following information which comes from BUPA Medical services in Victoria.
Due to the current COVID-19 situation, our Victorian Centres will be closing. We are currently not accepting new bookings in Victoria. New bookings will become available once restrictions are eased by the Victorian Government. We appreciate your understanding and patience as we work to ensure the safety of our customers and staff. Please visit the Home Affairs website for more information or contact your Visa Processing Officer.
For customers with existing bookings in one of our Victorian Centres, you will be notified shortly that your appointment has been cancelled and will need to be rescheduled once restrictions are eased and services recommence. No action is required from you.

What does this mean ?
For visa applicants based in Victoria this means that if you need to undertake a medical then the process will be delayed. Please note that as advised by BUPA, no action is required from visa applicants and you will be notified directly by BUPA when your appointment has been rebooked.
Visa Executive has spoken to BUPA today who confirmed:
- All bookings received a cancellation notice
- All bookings in this period will be refunded, clients will be notified in due course that refund has been processed
- Booking system is closed and tentative date for booking system to re-open is 13 September. So cannot rebook at the moment.
