At a conferral ceremony held on 1 December, the Law Institute of Victoria (LIV) recognised the accomplishments of 78 new accredited specialists across seven practice areas.
The institute’s accredited specialisation, LIV said in a statement, is a nationally recognised certification indicating practitioners’ standing as an expert in their field.
LIV president Tania Wolff offered her congratulations, noting that “their achievements in attaining this nationally recognised accreditation is clear evidence of the highest skill and passion they bring to their area of law”. “It’s an encouraging sign for the future of our profession that we are already seeing the newest generation of practising lawyers already demonstrating the highest level of skill and knowledge in their area of law,” Ms Wolff said.
“The LIV is proud to be playing a part in fostering this talent, and giving these bright young lawyers the recognition [that] they deserve.”
